Executive Corner: Brians Start in Technology
Aug 19, 2016
My love for the business world started at 15 when I started washing trucks for my dad’s freight forwarding business in Seattle, WA. I was consistently around a thriving business with a great culture and continued working for my dad until I left for college. Driving trucks, interacting with clients and learning how to be professional. You dont realize it at the time but the lessons you learn during those times become so valuable as you start into your own business. Working with Nordstrom, Amazon and many other thriving Seattle businesses and knowing that your dad landed those clients with hard work, strategy, navigating politics and most importantly providing the best customer experience they could have ever imagined.
Fast forward to me moving to Orange County and then Los Angeles, I was introduced to the master agent, distributor, MSP models in 2004 and came up with our company name QOS Networks. I knew the name I wanted but I needed to learn the market, meet the right people and grow as a sales professional as my good friend DK would always say. In 2012 Frank Cittadino and I launched QOS Networks LLC into the market with principles built on the things I learned from Seattle when I was just 15 years old. 483 customers later we still spend countless hours fine tuning our processes to make sure our MSP partners, VARs and customers have the absolute best experience day in and day out. Over the years I have studied each piece of the business within this industry with the idea that there is always a better way to provide a total solution and support partners and customers. I put myself in the partner’s and customer’s shoes and make sure our company gives them everything they could think of and then a few more things they didn’t even know would be possible. And we will continue to do that everyday.
Thank you for reading my first blog post and I look forward to my next one.
